I’m Abigail Kampa, a Registered Nurse and founder of Kampa Legal Nurse Consulting. With nearly a decade of nursing experience, I bring a diverse clinical background, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail to the medical-legal field.
My Story
My experience spans acute care, outpatient clinic, skilled nursing, and nearly five years in the operating room across hospital and ambulatory surgery settings, where I also frequently serve as charge nurse. Working across multiple areas of healthcare has given me firsthand experience with a wide range of medical documentation and a strong understanding of the patient’s continuum of care.
This diverse clinical perspective allows me to analyze medical records, recognize significant findings and documentation concerns, and connect information across providers and care settings to uncover the medical story behind a case.
I founded Kampa Legal Nurse Consulting to help plaintiff attorneys navigate complex medical information with greater clarity and confidence—allowing them to spend less time deciphering medical records and more time advocating for their clients.
